Always wanted a vacuum but not the large one that I've seen a bigger training barns. Thought the size would be good for home use (I have 3 horses)

Will this remove undercoat on dogs like shepherds etc?
Tina P on Jun 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I used it on my Australian shepherd that was blowing coat heavy... lots of little tuffs of undercoat. It did a decent job... i'd say comparable to a blower without hair all over the place. I think a combo of brushing and vacuuming gives the best results on horses and dogs.
can this be used to blow air?
A shopper on Nov 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No it cannot. But it is an awesome grooming device.
is this a vacumn only or does it have a clipper component?
A shopper on Apr 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is a vacuum only. It does have a power outlet on it that you can plug a pair of clippers in.
Does this have a reverse so instead of vacuum it will blow off dust?
A shopper on Feb 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No it does not.
What is the length of the hose?
Garret E on Dec 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It was so heavy, I didn't actually unpack it. Seems it should say how long the hose is in the specs though.
is this a vacumn only or does it have a clipper component? If a vacuum Only. why would one pay this price? How is this better than a shopvac for $50.
A shopper on Apr 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It works way better than a shopvac and your horses will stay slick and shiney and they love it. I bought the knock off first because of price and regretted it. now I have this one and it is fabulous!
Can this be used to vacuum water in lieu of squeegee?
Walter G on Apr 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It is not recommended. The motor and electrical circuitry must be protected from getting wet! I believe the rapid groom is not protected.
Is this appropriate for heavy shedding of hair? My horse has a very heavy winter coat and sheds for weeks!
A shopper on Apr 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I use this vacuum mostly to remove dust that accumulates from our clay in SC, I personally do not think it would be suitable for superfluous amounts of shedding fur, if you were to use it that way I would recommend frequent cleaning/changing of bags.
