Product Summary:

Sharon Camarillo Lifesaver Plus Touch Bit
Designed for a horse with a sensitive mouth. The longer shank offers control for rate and supple turns. The iron wrapped 3-piece O Ring snaffle works off tongue, lip, bar pressure making this is an excellent competition bit choice. It is also an excellent bit for trail riding. Adjust headstall to slight wrinkle and curb to 2-4 fingers for desired control. This is the second bit in the tender touch series. Comes with snap link stainless steel chain curb strap but Sharon prefers a flat chain curb strap which is shown as an option when ordering the bit.  6 1/2" cheeks, 5 1/2" mouth. Lifetime Guarantee. Made in the U.S.A.

on trails my walking horse is hard to control, he throws his head, hard to stop, and prances what bit would be helpful ?

BEST ANSWER: I ride gaited horses and the two bits I prefer is the 672 Solid Pleasure Bit and/or the 760 Seven S bit. Both have a medium port with a long shank. It works well to collect your horses head so they can gait properly. The throwing of the head could be bit resistance. If that is the case, the 760 bit maybe best.
what with sizes does the tender touch bit come in? 5'' 51\2''?
