Product Summary:

RESCUE!® Big Bag Fly Trap

The RESCUE!® Big Bag Fly Trap catches flies in bulk and is simple to use. Use it around the barn and other outdoor areas with heavy fly concentration to get rid of them before they become a nuisance inside. Just add water and hang! When the trap is full, simply take it down, close the yellow top and throw the entire trap in the garbage.

This trap is baited for fly species that are most common in agricultural areas, including house flies, false stable flies, blow flies, blue and green bottle flies, flesh flies, face flies and many others. It contains a fast-acting fly attractant that starts working as soon as you add water. Food and feed additives are combined with other dried ingredients to make the RESCUE!® attractant. Lured by the scent, flies enter through the yellow top cap and drown in the water.

  • Designed to handle outdoor areas with heavy fly concentrations
  • Controls flies around barns, stables, and animal pens
  • Fast-acting powder attractant is contained within the trap itself
  • Attractant dissolves and activates quickly when water is added to the bag
  • Trap's design eliminates touching the bait or the flies
  • Completely disposable when full
  • Holds up to 40,000 flies
  • Made in the U.S.A.
Item Specifications:

Small: holds approximately 20,000 flies
Large: holds approximately 40,000 flies

These fly traps work great. We prefer the smaller size so we can change the traps more often. The smaller size make them easier to dispose of.

I'm always amazed how well these fly bags work!
Cynthia F on Apr 5, 2019
Rescue fly bags work extremely well and the 3 smaller size ones I hung a week or two ago are almost full already. That is why I chose the larger size. I would have bought more at once, but the weather has gotten cold and rainy and flies my not be active much longer. I don't know if the bait will decay over the winter in any unused bags, so I'll buy them in quantity in the spring (and hopefully have the duck house and yard built by then; ducks reduce flies).
Billy P on Sep 29, 2018
product works well with the end of season flies we get in the Northeast US
KATHLEEN A on Sep 2, 2018

Good reviews. I use Fly Predators but have a dairy farm very close by. Need something to trap adult flies coming to my pasture. Hoping for reduced flies.
JODY & ED B on Jun 17, 2017
Need to keep the fly Population down. Wedding reception in barn.
Bill H on Jun 12, 2017
I use Fly Predators but needed something to control the adult flies. Smells terrible, but really works. I place them by the manure pile away from horses and buildings.
LORI P on May 30, 2017
Does a good job with the flies.
KAYE B on May 1, 2017
It caught a lot of flies, unfortunately I hang around the same place the flies do, so this has to be near by to work and the smell is horid
Deborah T on May 1, 2017
These work great in collecting pesky flies
CAROLYN S on Apr 20, 2017
Well ... you know... flies suck. Fly paper doesn't work. Last year I used trap and toss and it worked but this was on sale so I figured I would try this one this year. I like that it is a bag and not a huge plastic container going into the trash like with trap n toss.
Sony D on Apr 19, 2017
Continue to utilize this product with great results.
KATHY C on Apr 18, 2017
Works great and do not have to touch anything gross when tossing.

BEST ANSWER: Hi there! Below I have linked the label which states what ingredients are in the attractant.
Can this be hung where horses roam?
Will the chemicals harm them?
Lynda B on Jul 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I usually hang them from the trees or the hot walker that I don’t use. They are out of the reach of my horses but do not seem to affect my chickens or goats. Of course they are high enough out that no one can reach them
How many big bag fly bags are in 1 case or can i just order any amount??
A shopper on Aug 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've just ordered what I needed, about 6 or 8 but I'm sure you can order any amount you need.
Do these trap large horse flies?
Taylor on Jul 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They should.
can this be hung near the floor of a barn?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: My vet suggest not to hang in your barn. I hang mine along the corral. They fill with flies quickly :-)
how many large bags needed for residential home for 4 months?
A shopper on May 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is not recommended that you place them on or in your home; the smell is not pleasant. If you can place them far enough away from your home, that would be better. We have farm animals and use them in those areas. It also depends on how bad your fly problem is. If moderate, one bag per month would work. If really bad, you could feel a bag in a matter of days. They do work really well! Catch a ton of them and then easily dispose of them.
