Product Summary:

RESCUE!® Big Bag Fly Trap

The RESCUE!® Big Bag Fly Trap catches flies in bulk and is simple to use. Use around the barn and other outdoor areas with heavy fly concentration. Just add water and hang! When the trap is full, simply take it down, close the yellow top and throw the entire trap in the garbage.

This trap is baited for fly species that are most common in agricultural areas, including house flies, false stable flies, blow flies, blue and green bottle flies, flesh flies, face flies and many others. The RESCUE!® Big Bag Fly Trap contains a fast-acting fly attractant that starts working as soon as you add water. Food and feed additives are combined with other dried ingredients to make the RESCUE!® attractant. Lured by the scent, flies enter through the yellow top cap and drown in the water.

Features:

  • Designed to handle outdoor areas with heavy fly concentrations
  • Powder attractant is contained within the trap itself
  • Attractant dissolves and activates quickly when water is added to the bag
  • Trap's design eliminates touching the bait or the flies
  • Completely disposable
  • Made in the U.S.A.
Item Specifications:

Works
Works as advertised. If you have problems with fly's buy these. They last about a month and truly lower the fly population. I use four in the barn all summer and we only spray the horses when the farrier comes out. Works really well.

Great Product
I use the BIG bag (not the small) because it holds more flies! Not something I would be without in the Summer and Fall months.

it just works
I live next to two ranches , one raises horses and the other raises beef cattle, so that makes 3 ranches, its a fun and exciting way to live, but Holy Cow, fly season if crazy, we start the spring by putting up fly traps as far away from the barns and houses as possible, and then later some use fly wasps that work over the huge manure piles and gets those flies, I have many times just used the fly trap and with the nesting Barn swallows its all that I need.

Best Fly Trap Around
Smell is not to good , hang away from house. Fills with flys quickly. Wear rubber gloves to seal it in a large ziplock bags. Not for folks with a weak stomach. Very effective in trapping flies!!

This fly trap bag works for months!!!
I love this fly bag!! It lasts a long time, I just pour more water in occasionally, catch and kill thousands, I use 3-4 bags a summer. Smells terrible (which is why attracts flys) so I hang them on trees in the pasture away from the house. Don't smell it unless within 15-20 feet of it. Works better than any bag I have tried

It caught a lot of flies, unfortunately I hang around the same place the flies do, so this has to be near by to work and the smell is horid

These work great in collecting pesky flies
CAROLYN S on Apr 20, 2017
Well ... you know... flies suck. Fly paper doesn't work. Last year I used trap and toss and it worked but this was on sale so I figured I would try this one this year. I like that it is a bag and not a huge plastic container going into the trash like with trap n toss.
Sony D on Apr 19, 2017
Continue to utilize this product with great results.
KATHY C on Apr 18, 2017
Works great and do not have to touch anything gross when tossing.

can this be hung near the floor of a barn?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Of course you can hang it wherever you like. We hang them ALL OVER, including under tables in the barn, on paddock rails at eye level and on trees high and low. Once they capture a few flies they really stink - so don't hang them where you might like to hang out. The most effective spots seem to be up wind from where flies are worst (around the horses or near the manure pile).
how many large bags needed for residential home for 4 months?
A shopper on May 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is not recommended that you place them on or in your home; the smell is not pleasant. If you can place them far enough away from your home, that would be better. We have farm animals and use them in those areas. It also depends on how bad your fly problem is. If moderate, one bag per month would work. If really bad, you could feel a bag in a matter of days. They do work really well! Catch a ton of them and then easily dispose of them.
How many big bag fly bags are in 1 case or can i just order any amount??
A shopper on Aug 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've just ordered what I needed, about 6 or 8 but I'm sure you can order any amount you need.
Do these trap large horse flies?
