Product Summary:

RESCUE!® Fly Trap

The RESCUE!® Fly Trap is priced like a disposable, but is actually reusable for an entire season! This attractive and discreet trap is ideal for outdoor areas where you need a fly trap but don't want it to stand out. No pesticides, just add water. The trap catches hundreds of species of common nuisance or filth flies. It is baited for the most prevalent species including house flies, false stable flies, blow flies, blue and green bottle flies, flesh flies, face flies and many others.

The RESCUE!® Fly Trap comes with a water-soluble pouch of powder attractant. When the jar is filled with warm water and the trap is placed outside, the attractant dissolves and activates quickly. Once lured inside, the flies drown in the water added to the trap. Attractant refills (sold separately) allow this trap to be reused again and again.

Features:

  • Fast-acting attractant
  • Just add water
  • Simple and economical to reuse
  • Durable plastic container holds up in sunlight for seasons of use
  • Made in the U.S.A.
Item Specifications:

Directions for use:
The RESCUE!® Reusable Fly Trap can be used whenever hot, humid conditions or the presence of animals or garbage causes an outdoor fly problem. Suited for a small household area with a moderate concentration of flies.
Tear open pouch at tabs and drop inner packet into trap. Add water to fill line. Replace top securely. Hang or place trap outside near a fly source. Wash hands with soap and water. Empty trap and replace attractant when trap dries out or becomes full, or after 30 days, whichever comes first.

Great product
I live in yuma and when temps get over 110 degrees I find that the liquid evaporates is the bags. This is made of hard plastic, easy to empty, clean and refill.

Where are the flies?
There are many flies at my property. They ignore these fly traps. The traps do not work.

great product
I tried several brands. this is by far the most effective. smells to high heaven when you empty it but so worth it. I will never buy anything else. only problem I see is it works so good here I have to empty 6 jars about every week. is that a problem? guess not.

Best way to control flies
Flies are awful here and our fly season is 8 months long. I think fly traps are the best way to control flies, and I've tried everything (supplements, diatomaceous earth, fly predators). You need to have several to many of these traps but they really work, as evidenced by the quantity of flies that accumulate in them quite rapidly. You can purchase fly attractant to refresh the trap, and this version is much sturdier than other cheaper or disposable traps

Ok but not as good as Terminator
Bought because of the better price, but this product does not attract flies like the Terminator trap/attractant does.

Really works to trap flies!
We don't have horses but we do have pets and wanted a product that would not be toxic to them. The Rescue fly traps really do attract the flies away from our outdoor seating areas and doors. The traps can get pretty smelly after a couple of weeks, so it's good to buy the refill packets of the attractant, dump the old water with the dead flies in it and start fresh on a regular basis. We've been using the same plastic jars for about 3 years now, but if you don't like the hassle of dumping and rinsing them out, there is a disposable bag version with the same attractant formula.I highly recommend this product!

Works Great! Smells Bad!
I have used Rescue! Fly Attractment in Milk Jugg traps for 10 years. It takes 2 pouches and 1/2 gal of warm water. This is the best bait I have ever used! The more flys you catch the more it stinks and the more flys you catch. I found if the traps are not catching flys you need to move the location. I hang the traps on fence posts with bailing twine 3 to 4 foot off the ground and change them out 3 to 4 times during fly season. This bait is getting harder to find and the price is always going up but it is worth it as I dont have a fly problem.

Excellent Product!!!
If you want to trap flies, look no further! I had a major fly problem in my house and yard, since I live in a rural area. Everyday in the spring and summer my windows would be covered in flies. Flies flew through my house and irritated myself and everyone in my house! I have one RESCUE FLY TRAP on my front porch and one on my back and I barely ever see any flies in my house! I'm amazed, the only flies I see are around the trap or dead inside. It's a reusable trap too, which is a great because there is less waste!

Not at all happy
I purchased 4 Rescue Fly Trap with refills, poste through out the barn approx. 1.5 month ago. I finally got so frustrated with the flies, my friend and I decided to use the bag fly traps. Once removed I can assure you Rescue container had less than 7 flies inside. This is truly a waste of my money as well as being stuck with all the refills. Please do not purchase this product.

Is it safe indoors?
A shopper on Aug 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Safe-- probably. Sanitary -- definitely not. It would be pretty nasty to have it indoors. The dead flies collect in the container and smell( not to mention look bad). The attractant they use also smells. I would not recommend it.
Where do you dump your full trap?
A shopper on Jun 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I dump mine in the manure pile
Is this for horseflys? It says hundreds of nuance flys but it does not specify.
A shopper on May 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Even though it doesn’t say i have never seen one on the lid and if they were to try to enter the holes-i believe that they wouldn’t be able to fit through the holes
So,my answer would definitely be a big NO!!!
Sorry
