Poor quality.
After reading the other reviews here I expected this to be a decent bridle. But the leather was poor quality, painted rather than tanned, stiff and inconsistent thickness. The bit had very rough patches on the inside where the mouthpiece connects to the shanks. And the "silver" was very cheap looking. I returned it.

I like for the money
My saddle is chestnut and black so I opted for the chestnut bridle. The silver on the bridle compliments the silver on my saddle (doesn't over or under do it). Needed oiling to soften but good looking bridle. I am satisfied. I'll order one in the dark oil to match my other saddle.

Show halter
Purchase was made hoping this would be an item I could utilize for both show and as an every day ride....and it is! Not to flashy, but just enough. Definitely worth the price.

how thick is the leather?
A shopper on Nov 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The leather was not to thick but it was a little stiff it took a while for it to soften, once it did it was a nice headstall and it was very pretty, the bit was a cheap one and I just got rid of it, I hope this helps
