Very satisfied except it is very large. I was going to order another one only smaller(cob size) but I could not find a smaller one. yes I recommend for a large head.

Very good product
My only issue is that many of the holes for size adjustment aren't large enough to put the buckle pins through. My quarter pony is small, so I will be poking new holes to make it fit better. The leather is good quality and it seems as though my horse is comfortable with it. This product is probably sized for a full size horse and not a quarter pony, though with adding additional holes, it will work fine.

I ride a Missouri Fox Trotter that needs very little persuasion. We're just trail-riders, and she does everything I ask her to without a whole lot of argument. But she absolutely hates having a bit put in her mouth. I've ridden her with just a halter, and she behaves fine. So I'm hoping this gives me a little more control while still providing her the comfort of being bitless.

My Appaloosa has a small head. Most bridles are too big. Can this be adjusted for a smaller head?
Pammy on Jan 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It does not adjust very well. I tried it out on a twh with an average size head, punched several holes in the bridle and it was still way too big to fit properly.
what is the difference between bosel and sidepull ?
A shopper on May 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: A bosal is often made of rawhid and uses a single mecate rein. The point of contact is more on the bridge of the nose and requires the horse to neck rein. A side pull headstall uses a direct rein on each side. Side pulls assist in teaching lateral neck flexion but offer less stopping power unless you buy one with a rawhide nose band.
Do the reigns go where the chin strap is? It doesn't look like there would be enough room?
A shopper on Feb 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The picture shows the nose band/chin strap attached to the outside ring. There are actually two rings, and the reins attach to the outside ring, the nose band to the inside ring. I love mine :-)
Are there two rings at the site for the chin strap? Where side reins can be attached and also a lunge line.
Mistie L on Jul 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, just like at the bit.
Is this genuine leather or more like PU leather?
Anna K on Jul 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: All leather.
