Why did you choose this? Store
I ride a Missouri Fox Trotter that needs very little persuasion. We're just trail-riders, and she does everything I ask her to without a whole lot of argument. But she absolutely hates having a bit put in her mouth. I've ridden her with just a halter, and she behaves fine. So I'm hoping this gives me a little more control while still providing her the comfort of being bitless.

what is the difference between bosel and sidepull ?
A shopper on May 18, 2015
Best Answer: A bosal is often made of rawhid and uses a single mecate rein. The point of contact is more on the bridge of the nose and requires the horse to neck rein. A side pull headstall uses a direct rein on each side. Side pulls assist in teaching lateral neck flexion but offer less stopping power unless you buy one with a rawhide nose band.

Do the reigns go where the chin strap is? It doesn't look like there would be enough room?
A shopper on Feb 8, 2017
Best Answer: The picture shows the nose band/chin strap attached to the outside ring. There are actually two rings, and the reins attach to the outside ring, the nose band to the inside ring. I love mine :-)

Are there two rings at the site for the chin strap? Where side reins can be attached and also a lunge line.
