It's LOVE
I love these reins. I love the thickness, the weight, the supple feel, the smooth edges. Most of all I love the quick change tabs. They go great with the Weaver split ear bridle with the same quick change tabs at the bit ends. They also have a keeper that keeps the reins together. It's snug enough that it's not going to fall off and get lost easily.

Way more pros than cons.
I really like these reins. However, I wish they were oiled a little better, so they would be more pliable right away. I realize new leather takes some time to break in, and after the first use they were already feeling better.I would definitely recommend them to anyone that likes being able to change their reins without untying them or hates metal clips on their reins. Bottom line: great product at a great price.

From the photo, I can't see how the "quick change" takes place. Can you explain the concept to me? Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: The leather strap you see held by the metal piece is slid out. You push the metal piece through the main strap and it creates an opening to put onto the bit. Push the metal piece back through the main leather piece and slide the thin piece of leather back into the metal as a keeper. Once you see them in person it makes a lot more sense.
