Quality product
Live on gravel road. Cart pony hooves and coat are problem free. Can now maintain him with natural hoof using Nu-hoof and Australian boots.

My horses have always had good feet so it's hard to tell much improvement. It has a unique smell but it hasn't deterred my horses from eating it. The other reviews were good so I tried it. My horses coats are shiny and they have healthy feet. I will continue to use it

Hoof supplement
I have used this product for about a year. Two of my horses had white line and two had a persistent vertical crack in the front toe. All four horses now have healthy looking feet.

My picky horse loves the taste!
I've used Nu-Hoof Maximizer in the past with another horse and had great results. Now after 2 days on it my new horse's coat is shiny as a mirror! I'm giving it to him to help grow good healthy hooves because he was previously trimmed at unnatural angles, and his hooves are growing out nicely.

This product works.
My Veterinarian recommended this product after my horse had laminitis. He is a shire, a big boy, and his feet had always been chipped and cracked. He has now been on Nu Hoof for a year and a half and his feet are much better. They still chip and crack occasionally, but only mildly. On the whole, his feet are far better now than they were before this supplement. I will continue using this for the rest of his life. He also eats it in his food without any complaint. He licks up every last granule.

Works great
My gelding has always had dry cracked hooves. He is 14 years old, I've had him for 11 years. I have been feeding him this product for almost a year now. His hooves have never looked so good and healthy! He loves the taste. I give him half a scoop once a day on feed. I started giving my mare the same. I noticed he didn't have the deer ticks like my mare. Now they seem to stay off of her, too. Just an added bonus!

Why did you choose this?

Trying something new, chosen for 2 friends with shelly cracky footed QHs. I picked it for its higher biotin content and other ingredients as well as its more reasonable per day cost. Remains to be seen what the results will be.

The high desert dries out hooves; hopefully this product will strengthen them.

my horse has very bad allergies and can only have 3 hoof supplements that agree with him. this one works well for him
WENDY D on May 8, 2014
The best hoof supplement I have tried. I have two Thoroughbreds, and we all know that they tend to have thinner hoof wall and thiner hooves. This product is amazing. I will never go back to any other supplement.

How long does the 1.5 lb last?
A shopper on Jan 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have 2 horses which I give 1/2 scoop each once a day. I buy the 2.5 lb that last almost 4 months. So you should maybe get 2 months at 1/2 scoop for 1 horse. Very good stuff!
How many servings per pound?
A shopper on May 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Each enclosed scoop is 18 grams. There are 453 grams in a pound, so each pound would be about 25 servings.
