Gorgeous rope halter
Pretty and great quality rope halter. Stiff enough to get your lessons across and hold its shape while in use. Sizes run big, at least on my AQHA cowhorses so I also ordered a small which fits better than average in my opinion.

Do you have pony halters?

Does this halter have a good "bite" similar to a Clinton Anderson halter? I've found too many halters that are too soft.
BEST ANSWER: I love these halters. We raise and train quarter horses for cow horse work. These halters are made of stiff rope, the knots are well placed, they are nicely sized and the silver tip keeps the ends together. If they are properly tied, tight around the jaw & crown, onto the loop (not the halter itself) they will be great.

Nice halter that held up well. Can't comment on the 'bite' since I had a champion reining horse who didn't need much bite. It worked well on her.
Yes, these are a stiff rope. They give more control than those cheap soft ones. They are a good alternative to pricey clinician brands.
I have a few of these halters and they are more of a rigid rope material. I like them and they hold up.
I have several of these halters and I love them. They keep their shape and don't stretch out.
this is an excellent training halter with good feel and connection.

I HAVE A 15 HAND QUARTERM HORSE WHAT SIZE HALTER I NEED ?
BEST ANSWER: I have two quarter horses about 15.2 each, they both have a large head and the large fits fine. As the other customer stated they may run a little large so if your horse lacks some of the thoroughbred influence and has an average size head you may want to buy the average halter.

The regular horse size should fit it fine. The small fits my two QH Mares but they also have very small heads.
Sizes: Small: 500 lbs - 800 lbs Average: 800 lbs. - 1100 lbs. Large: 1100 lbs. - 1600 lbs.
I will buy the medium sized. The large one fits a little bit to big on my 15 hand mare quarter horse.
Probably large. It fit my QH. She is 15 H.
