Good product
This works perfectly hooked over a stall front. It is solid and very stable. My only quality complaint is the saddle support welds are misaligned, but hopefully they will stay welded OK.It would be great if they added a bridle hook on the vertical support beam since there is plenty of room for one (at least on the single rack that I purchased).

Does what its supposed to.
I bought this rack to use when tacking up to keep my saddle off the ground. However the bars that hold it onto whatever you choose (fence rail) have a greater depth than most wood. So at my outside cross-ties, the fence rail is not thick enough so the rack tilts down, not enough to drop the saddle but enough to be an annoyance.Overall it does the job, the bars are probably meant so that it can fit over the other suggested uses listed in description although hanging off tail gates and trailers I question as to whether this would dent them. I will probably just add a piece of wood to the board where I put this to make it work better.

what is the space between the 2 hook-over arms? (I need to determine if it will fit between existing stall bars)
Karen O on Dec 31, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I went ahead and bought this item and have the measurements (see below). If I missed one that someone needs, please let me know and I will get it for you. (P.S. This works FANTASTICALLY for what I needed it for. I am hooking it over a stall front and it is super-sturdy! I also verified it supports both Western and English (dressage) saddles easily.)
space between hookover "arms": 10 3/8"
(the hooks support depth of 2", with a 3" overhang in back to grab onto whatever hooked onto)
wall support beam length: 12"
wall support beam height: 8 1/4" (which explains its great sturdiness!)
saddle support length: 21"
saddle support width: 9 1/4"
Will this rack fit over a 2 1/2 inch wall?
JillM on May 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I think so. Mine goes over the pipe on a pipe stall and it did fit on a 2x 8 board. There should be a measurement on the product description for the depth of the hang bar.
how much weight will this saddle rack hold? My Saddle weighs about 40 lbs.
A shopper on Mar 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is Single Saddle Hanging Rack and it is designed to hold one saddle. The average weight of a saddle is 25 lbs. It will most likely hold slightly more than that, but not much.
