Doesn't seem to work as well as Absorbine
I was really excited by this liniment, but it just didn't perform like I wanted it to. I've always used Absorbine and thought I would take the herbal alternative if it would do the job. Unfortunately it didn't seem to have the same staying power, or penetration that my old favorite does. It's packed with cooling menthol, so seems like its working at first, but when I checked the mare I used it on 30 minutes later, she was already developing heat again in her lower legs. Disappointed.

Helps my horses a lot!
I use the liniment on my 19 year old quarter horse. I find that if i rub his legs and his back down before every ride. That he is less sore at the end of the ride. He also starts off very stiff without it, he is also feels happier and more welling to move. It also help my mini when he was recovering form some tendon problems. I also find that it is good to brace them afar a log ride or workout. I keeps them from being sore the next day.

BEST ANSWER: You need to read the ingredients label. I just get the orig. one because it's the best value. If you are competing at international FEI levels, there are a couple of ingredients that could test and they have formula that does not test positive.
