Just what I wanted- I have been using this bit for many years now, and have made converts of many of my friends as well. It is apparently quite comfortable for a horse to carry, and versatile.

SS Sweet Iron Mouth Gag Bit
Was looking for this bit because this is what the previous owner rode my TWH mare in. have gotten other products from horse.com and always have been pleased with their products. Shipping of the bit was fast . I called customer service in reguards to a question about a saddle I was looking to purchase and had questions on fitting my mare. The gal was very helpfull in directing me to a saddle fitting website . Sadly the saddle would not fit my gaited mare so ended up having to purchase at another dealer. But have always been pleased with horse.com with their products and customer service and will continue to shop here for my horse needs. Thanks

Perfect Bit
This is a great all-purpose bit. I used this bit to transition from a loose ring snaffle bit to a tom-thumb and still go back to use this one. It gives you several options for training in various stages by re-positioning the placement of the reins and the bridle on this bit as well as options for chin strap placement to allow various levels of contact. The mouth piece is sweet iron and not too small in diameter for the horse's comfort and a perfect amount of communication. By far my favorite bit and an incredible value for the price.

I Love This Bit!
I heard so many horrible things about this bit when I was trying to find a bit that my rocky mountain gelding would like. The first time I rode him with it he really seemed to relax in the mouth and neck and just seemed like he really enjoyed it. I do not have one bad thing to say about this bit! My horse is really responsive, easily stopped and turned, and relaxed! I love this bit! Wonderful bit for any discipline!

Decent product.
At first my mare worked very lightly in this and did anticipate when i was going to ask her to turn more, but when we started running more she ran right through this bit so i had to buy a combination bit. but for a quieter horse i think it would work great. only real problem i had with it was it rusted very quickly

FABULOUS bit!
I have never met a horse who hasn't liked this bit. I prefer it for gaming, but it does work well with your casual hack. Horse responds well, doesn't fight with it or toss their head, stops nice. Personally, this is my favorite bit in the barn!

Amazing Bit
I love this bit! Simple as that. I've used this bit on my mustang, my friend's mustang(who usually can only be ridden in a hack), a few QHs, even a small draft. With every horse it seems to work wonders! My mare had a bit of a control issue, she doesn't like to stop, and she didn't used to like to bend. I barrel race her now and this has put a good woah on her and she turns so nice now. Just amazing, she loves it, it's not to weak and not to strong. Just perfect. Plus, the price is right, can't argue with that.

Needed for a TWH mare that was not able to be controlled in a regular D-ring snaffle. Helped enormously. Need to try it on my other mare. It also helps trying to get her in her gaits.
