This product is very effective.
After six months of use, I noticed a healthy glow to my mare's coat. Even my vet commented on her shiny coat.

So Far So good
I got this product so that my horses would quit rubbing their tails out. I have tried this for a few months but the worst months are yet to come. One of my horses was starting to founder and rubbing her tail badly. I took her off of pasture then her vitamins. I don't know if missing link was a contributing factor because she has foundered before on alfalfa. I would not recommend this product yet, but I may after the summer ends. We will see.

Love this product!
My horse is picky about supplements so I was skeptical he would like this powder. I needn't have been concerned because he absolutely loves it! I had been trying to find something with the Omegas in proper balance plus garlic in it to help deter pests in the summer. His coat looks fantastic (when he doesn't roll), and it also helps his feet which can be hard to grow and maintain.Since I started using this in the fall, I won't know til late spring if the garlic in it is strong enough to deter flies. Even if it is not, I will continue to use this product as it has everything else my horse needs.

Great skin & coat supplement
This is a powdered supplement that is fantastic. We have a liver chestnut TB gelding. When we put him on this supplement, his coat got very nice and dappled. He also got very dark and glossy. A major change from the years when he wasn't on the supplement. The cost is moderate, however you get what you pay for a lot of the time. The container itself is a metallic bag; we never had rodent issues with it but you could store it in an old supplement bucket if you're worried. My only complaint is that it is not available in pellet form - my horse gobbled it up and licked out the bucket, but I personally prefer pellets.

Great Product
I've always believed in simple feeding with quality hay and a salt/mineral block. I've stepped it up with my competition horses and decided they might need a little extra. I did not want to oversupplement, as most products would do; Missing Link's ingredients sounded great and the idea behind providing a little extra that might be missing from regular feed really appealed to me. My one show gelding has been on this for three weeks and licks his dish clean. He has not haired-up like my other gelding and still has a shiny coat in November. Will be putting my other gelding on this soon to see if it makes a difference. Price is okay, at about $.45 per serving.

Can you feed this to dogs????
A shopper on Nov 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I do not have a label in front of me to check the analysis of ingredients, but I doubt it would hurt a dog; however, Missing Link makes a specific canine formula which I used to give my dog. I am sure you can sprinkle some on the dog's food until you pick up the dog variety, but the flavor of the canine formula is more to their liking. I used to eat it. The expiration date will be up long before it is used as the bag is too big unless you have many dogs.
