Need measurements on the difference in sizes? thank you :)
A shopper on Sep 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Large is 48-54
Med. is 42-46
small is 36-40
Would the small fit a newborn 120 or so pound warmblood foal?
A shopper on May 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: you must measure and follow the charts. It isn't about the breed or weight but the measurements if you don't do that you could end up with something not fitting right, don't go by our yes or no answers. MEASURE. That being said, leave extra length a little b/c it fits snugger than I like lengthwise. I would not buy it now if you won't need it until winter though
Can a mini wear this?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have a 54” pony and it was a little tight in neck and had to buy chest extension. It also will not come down their side as far if you’re mini is thicker build.
I have a foal that measures 44" now, I can't decide if I should get a large or medium? She is currently the medium size but do you think she will grow out of that by the end of winter?
A shopper on Oct 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately it's impossible to know up front how much your foal will grow over the next several months. The good news is that 44" is solidly in the middle of the range for medium size, so you do have some leeway.
I have a Gypsy Vanner 4 mo old colt with thick coat, I want a waterproof turnout blanket but it can not be too warm, not sure I understand what Denier size I need?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The denier number is not the size, it is the strength of the outer layer. At 600 denier, this blanket is considered medium-strong. The warmth factor is the 250 grams of polyfill, which is considered at the higher end of medium weight/medium warm. To get the size you need, measure from the center of your colt's chest straight back to the edge of the hindquarters (the same line where the two colors meet in the picture).

BEST ANSWER: Small (36"- 40")
Medium (42"- 46")
Large (48"- 52")
My colt wears a 48". What is equivalent for this item?
Celest B on Oct 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: You will need a large then
