Don't buy these
Poorly made and of poor quality. I bought three and tried using them but they are too shabby. I threw them away. Don't waste your money. I've used slow feeder hay bags for five years in the horse boarding facility I own and run - they are the best things ever. I had never tired this particularly brand and will never touch them again.

no waste feeding
Friends recommended this bag to me. Love it! Horses don't pull all the hay out and waste it. I hang it in their shelter when the weather is nasty and there is none left all over in the shavings, as had been with regular bags. Only wish there were a better hook to hang it included with the bag.

The material used to make this seems flimsy compared to other nets I have bought, and the loop at the top doesn't go through all the loops on the net. I don't know if this is a mistake, or how it was meant to be, but it leaves some strings hanging down, and my horses grab the strings vs grabbing the hay. I will not be using these.

How much hay will this net hold?

BEST ANSWER: I bought 3 and I think we can get around a half a bale per net. Not enormous bales but I'd say average. Could probably get more too but I stand the bale on end and put hay net over it which makes it very easy to put hay in. But doesn't fill it entirely on width. If that makes sense:-)
