Just didn't fit
These hobbles were way too loose on a l5 hand appaloosa mare. I could not use them.

I found them to be way too large for my mare. I have quarter horses, these would have been easier to use on a draft horse. I ended up having to put them up on her hocks, cranking it down tight, but as soon as she moved, they slipped down her leg and she stepped out of them. I had to buy sedatives so I could get the mare bred, so I spent this money, plus sedation.
