Too big!
Cribbing Strap is oversized...would fit a huge draft type horse. It is not adjustable beyond the set limits--the leather strap tapers to a larger size. The strap cannot be cut beyond the holes because then the buckle would be too small for the remaining length of strap. Great product for the price, but needs to come in different sizes or cut about a foot off the overall length! It would not fit my horses, one is 14.2 the other 15.3 quarter horses.

Product Is Too Large!
I purchased the Tough-1 leather cribbing strap as a reasonably priced substitute for a Miracle Collar. My horse has learned to rub the forehead strap over his ears making that formerly effective tool useless. I thought this single leather strap model might be effective. My horse is large. An average sized horse halter is too snug, but this collar is huge for him. I used the smallest adjustment, but it just spins around on his neck. It is completely ineffective. It might work on a VERY thick necked horse, but I know it would not fit any of my seven horses. Fortunately I only have one cribber. I am glad it was not very expensive. I will attempt to return the collar if shipping is not a problem. I was very happy with the rest of my large order. It was delivered very promptly.

Does the crib strap come in a yearling horse size, looking for yearling size?

BEST ANSWER: Cindy, I bought this strap for my 15.2 stocky quarter horse in April. I did, however, return it. The strap was way too long. The neckstrap narrowed to the buckle end, so it was not even possible to cut the strap to fit my horse. When ordering, I only saw the one size. I am using a wide leather belt as a cribbing strap.
