Can you tool and carve this?
A shopper on Feb 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The leather is thick enough, so maybe one could. I will sell mine because it doesn't fit my saddle.
Can someone tell me if this is a reddish brown, or a dark brown? Looks reddish in the picture.
Bryce S on Apr 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: it's dark brown and matches my dark brown saddles very well. I ended up separating them and adding a strap to hook on the horn, one for each saddle.
Does the bottom of this tie down so it doesn't bounce?
A shopper on Nov 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It doesn't tie down but once you fill it, it doesn't bounce. You can get in and out of it easily, I love mine.
how are they secured on? How do they stay in place?
Charlene I on Oct 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This bag is made for a western saddle, which has a horn (part that sticks up from the pommel/front of saddle). The hole between the bags fits over the horn, which keeps the bag on, although it sometimes bumps the rider's knees a bit. This bag is not designed to be used with an English or Australian saddle.
