Too long
They are too long for my 31" Miniature horse. They work to keep her from eating grass while she's working, but I will need to buy different ones if I want to work her in a frame. They also don't fit through the rings of the surcingle very well. But They appear to be sturdy and they are easy to adjust, so if you just want to keep your horse from eating grass, or if you have a bigger Mini, then I do recommend these.

Really Love These Side Reins
I bought these with the Tough-One training surcingle and I can say I love them. They work super well, and my mini has been improving with them. I'm training him as a show horse for my little sister and they work really well as a training aid for what it's like for a saddle and bridle and everything!
