Extra long trail reins
I love my new triple E extra long reins I have a 9 ft reins but new horse has along neck and when we where in WV riding in the Mt. I feel that I was hold him back and or pulling on him i went to my foveate tack store Horse.com and order Triple E extra long reins once I got back from WV and I love them it gives me more extra slack in the reins and they feel soft and I enjoy being on the trail with my horse now that I feel that i am pulling on or holding him he able to walk with his head and if I need to pull up some slack the I think I need to I can they are so Awesome

Got these reins to use in a parade where my horse will be dressed in turquoise. Great match,& good quality. I also got the "hot pink" & we both loved them. Black Betty likes to strut her stuff!!

Good trail riding reins for the price
I bought these reins because of the price and I would recommend them. The 10' length is great for trail riding because you can let your horse drink/eat easily. The quality seems good but I have only used them a few times so I will know more in a few months. What I do not like about these is the smooth nylon material. They are not easy to hold when your hands sweat. I wish they offered these in a cotton instead.

These are LONG!
I trail ride exclusively & needed longer reins than those I had with my Paso Fino's bridle. Those measured 80.5" (6' 8") & wouldn't allow my horse to drink unless I lay on her neck...dangerous & uncomfortable. I figured 8 ft might not be quite enough so I bought these. It was major over-kill on a 14 hand horse. HaHa!!! For those who want an accurate measurement, these measure 124" or 10 ft-4.5 " including the leather straps & snaps. They DO make nice lead ropes though as long as you don't tie with them. The snaps aren't intended for tie ups. Very vibrant colors, nice weight in your hands & comfortable...just very long on a short horse. These would be ideal for long-necked TBs, QHs or drafts. I intend to shorten mine a little.

Soft and supple
I love these reins! They are so soft in your hands on a long trail ride and the longer length is very comfortable.

Long enough
Works well for long neck horse, trail riding. You can let your horse water or graze from the saddle without leaning on saddle horn.

I have a very long necked quarter horse who loves to move with his head down and relaxed - normal length reins made it tough to allow him his freedom. They are soft and work great.

RED us my color and the hooks which would enable to tie my horse when we stop for lunch on the trail...
Patricia E on Jun 23, 2015
I thought they would be nice trail riding reins but they are two big in diameter for my hands though.
REBECCA H on Jun 7, 2015
My granddaughters are learning to ride and the longer length is so much better for their short arms and the horses mouth.

how long is extra long?
A shopper on May 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I love these reins. I have ordered 3 so far 2 for myself and gave one to a friend. I plan to order another for my husband who keeps using mine. It really is 10' which is long enough to leave your horse on a long rein for grazing or drinking on the trail. Also long enough to leave draped over the horn for resting so it doesn't get dropped. Love all the variety of colors it comes in too!
are these flat reins?
A shopper on Apr 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These reins are round, poly rope. They are Very comfortable in your hands, and for me, a small woman, the size is just right to hold onto.
How long are they?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I ride a draft horse with these. Long enough for him and able to wrap around horn.

calamity jane on Jun 27, 2016
