not what I expected
I wish the picture of the product was uncoiled. It is not long enough for my horse to get her head down to drink or eat. I don't like all the straps near the bit.worry she could get caught up in them with her head down. I usually ride english maybe I just did't know what I was ordering, a better picture would have helped.

How does the design work? I want to know what a watering sting is.
christy M on Aug 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It should say watering STRING. You see the little forked piece on the reins that hangs from the middle of the reins in the picture? That's a watering string. Just gives you a little more length to hold onto the reins when the horse drops its head to drink. They sell it like its the greatest thing since sliced bread but it really isn't a big deal. They ARE a nice set of reins though.
