Ergo Balance Oversize Trail Glide™ stirrups are made of lightweight sturdy nylon, and will accommodate the larger foot or heavy boot. The special angled nylon top bar helps place rider's feet in a level position for decreased knee and ankle fatigue. A comfortable thick sponge rubber foot cushion provides for shock absorption. Available in 1 1/2" , 2 1/2" or 3" neck. 5 3/4" wide base, 5 1/2" deep. Sold as a pair.

When the stirrup is hanging on the saddle - how much lower does the outside edge of the bottom of the stirrup hang?

BEST ANSWER: I don't know in distance. I do know it's enough to make the stirrup flat against your foot. It's more comfortable for the rider...
