Not for me.
Not happy with these at all. Like the foot cushion but the sides of the stirrups cut into my boot. I have tried everything to get them to not put pressure on the inside.

Improved my ride tremendously!
I bought the cheaper ones first. Big mistake! Sent them back and ordered the Tucker's.

An absolute must!
Originally purchased this stirrup for my husband to help ankle fatigue. He raved over the extra support. They made all the difference in the world - helps with traction and secure foot placement. I gave them a try - and won't go back!

Love these stirrups
Bought these stirrups for my circle Y trail saddle. They look great and are very comfortable. The cone helps the stirrup hang right where you want it to. I use these for long trail rides.

Can't wait to try them
Can't wait to try them. My husband put them on my Saddle, they look good, I hope they help my knees, as they did my friend. She has them & loves them. My knees would get so sore after a couples hours of riding. I will let you all know what I think after I get to ride in them. Thanks,RitaRedding, CA.

Wouldn't ride in anything else
I've always just used the traditional leather wrapped stirrups until I rode in a friends saddle that had these stirrups. Love them. Comfortable, reduced a lot of stress on the knees and ankles. Bought a pair for both of my saddles and plan on using them for a long time to come.

After riding in a set of stirrups that are similar to these that a friend had, I decided to start looking into some for myself. I have knee and hip pain in my regular western stirrups but the wider foot area and the size really made a difference. I am excited to give these a try!

What are the sizes for? 2.5" ?
Janis S on Nov 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It's the width of the stirrup leather...English, Western & Australian are all different.
How do I know what size I need? 5'6 150 lb lady attaching to English saddle
Mavis C on May 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Please be aware that these stirrups are not meant for use with English stirrup leathers. Even the 1.5" size is wider than English leathers and they will slide around on the neck.
That said, for any stirrups the size is one inch more than the widest part of your riding boot's sole.
Does the narrow side of the angled top bar go towards or away from the horse?
A shopper on Feb 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Actually, the large end of the cone goes against the horse. When your foot is in the stirrup, the large end is against the horse. Once you attach the stirrup to the fender, the stirrup should sit flat when turned.
What is the difference between these and a slanted stirrup.? My horse trainer told me to buy slanted
Julia K on Aug 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These particular ones have a wider foot and it seems to have much more support. As far as the angle compared to the slant I think that may be about the same. I purchased these because I wear a wide work boot when I ride and the width and length of these are perfect. I recommend these.
Are these angled?
A shopper on Nov 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They appear angled but they are not. Your feet will rest straight in these stirrups. Used them for the first time last week on a 16 mile ride and man they were absolutely awesome. Worth every penny and I'll never try any other stirrups ever again. Did not experience any pain in my feet, ankles or knees thanks to these stirrups.
My leathers measure 2 3/4 do I order 21/2 or 3?
Julia K on Sep 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You would probably have to go with the wider size. If the leathers are wider than the stirrup, they would probably stick against the neck while you were riding.
I understand that the large part of the cone is toward the horse body but a friend ask about the curve of the sides. Forward or back?
Doris B on Aug 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The curves of the stirrup branches bow forward. The item photo shown is of a left-side stirrup.
So the messurement is the base of the stirrup where your foot rests? 11/2 to 3 inches? Or is it where it attaches to the fender?
Julia K on Aug 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 1 1/2" , 2 1/2" or 3" measurements are for the neck at the top.
The footbed is 5" wide and 4" deep.
