Rugged Construction
I think the pad is well constructed and the color is quite nice (Navaho Tan). It fit my saddle well (Allegheny Trail Saddle) and it definitely did not slip, but I have only had a chance to ride with it once. I have to say that it was much thicker than I expected, pretty stiff and it was a little difficult to tighten the cinch to where I felt the saddle wouldn't roll sideways once mounted. It did roll some (and I even mounted from a mounting block) and I thought the cinch could have been tighter after it settled down once ridden. It did not get more flexible after the first ride. I am hoping it will mold to his back more once it has had consistent use.

I thought it was opened by picture for a high with red horse but wasn't. It looked good and well made but had to send it back.Just wanted to let people know it cost me about half the price to send back. Lesson learned make sure u order the right one.

Great saddle pad
I purchased this pad and had not used it until I went to on vacation last week. Rode everyday for average of 6 hours for 5 days and my horses back was not sore at all.Previously used an ESP saddle pad but he would get a little sore after a few days of hard riding. Will purchase again without question.

Size too small for Tucker saddle
I own a Tucker Southpass saddle 16.5 and this pad is to short in length. Width is fine but only overhangs my saddle by a little over an inch either side.As far as quality this is one of the finest looking pads I've seen and hope to find the same in a longer length. If you have a smaller endurance saddle maybe this will work in size, mmeasure first before ordering.

Nice saddle pad
I used this pad for the first time and I think it's going to be a winner. It fits nicely under my Abetta trail saddle. My saddle stayed in place better than it has with very expensive wool pads. My horse has high withers and no matter how I adjusted previous pads they always pulled down hard on his withers. Even the ones with "wither relief". This one was much better.

Great, lightweight pad.
This saddle pad was purchased for my husband. He has been using it every day for over a week on his Paso Fino & loves it. Since it hasn't been used very long, I can't rate accurately the durability, but it is lightweight & the area with the extra thickness is exactly what he needed to relieve the pressure point from the back of his saddle.

There is stitching half way down pad. Is this added padding?

Does this pad fit the Tucker Equitation Endurance Saddle?
Ruthie on Dec 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This is a saddle pad that we believe can fit any saddle choice. As a general guideline, we've found that it's best to add an additional 2"-3" to the length of your saddle. Any less and you risk sliding over your pad on uneven terrain. Any more and you're forced to deal with an unwieldy saddle pad. The photos to the right show a good fitting pad vs an over sized pad.
How many inches thick is this pad?
A shopper on Jun 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I just Googled the description. With the covering and tacky back it is a little thicker. They only mention the 1" felt. Tacky Too Navajo Trail Pad is made with a herculeon Navajo top, core is made of absorbent 1" felt breathable cushions with Tacky Too® non-slip bottom that is anti-bacterial, ventilated, pressure distributing, shock absorbing, and deceptively tough and durable. will this work with a Circle Y western saddle?
Juddy S on Oct 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't think the brand of saddle matters, just the cut of the saddle. It is made for an endurance style saddle with round skirt. While we ride in a Tucker saddle with this pad, a friend rides in a traditional western saddle with a round skirt and it works for her as well. Hope this helps.
Will it work with Treeless saddles or spine relief?
becky a on Nov 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I use it with an Abetta Trail saddle. Works well on my wide quarater horse. I can't say about treeless saddle.
Will this work with my Circle Y saddle?
Judy ` on Oct 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If it is a round skirt, it should. Make sure of the length of you skirt around you saddle. It fits nicely under the Tucker I purchased. Good luck
