Fluff enough
This pad helped my close contact English saddle to fit my OTTB's high and long withers properly. I use it on top of a flat, quilted pad with good results.

Cheap, and very thin.
I bought this half pad to use on my TB mare that has high withers and it doesn't help her in the least. You get exactly what you pay for, its cheap and extremely thin, I DO NOT recommend.

Decent Pad
I bought this pad because my Mustang was getting a sore back jumping the higher jumps, and I was on a budget. It works alright for her, but I would not say this pad is amazing. The 'fleece' is a yellowy color and it really is not that thick. Also, it seems to be made for a saddle with an 18 inch seat because it is huge with my 16 inch seat Tudor. It is an okay pad for light work, and has lasted several months with regular use, but I am planning on getting a nicer half pad because this is one of those "you get what you pay for" products.

Great pad!
This is a great pad. It is extremely thick and adds a lot of padding for your saddle. I use it on my Thoroughbred who has really high and thin withers and it fits really well. I've had the pad for well over a year and it still looks brand new. I highly recommend this pad!

Not Worth it
It doesn't fit right and it has given a sore to my horse's wither which could potentially make him lame. I don't recommend it.

I have one of these at my barn that i use on my pony should i spend my money on my own or just use my barns?
Cameren A on Sep 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: If you have the money buy one. At my barn you never know who will be riding and using stuff when you get there. It is not the quality of the $200 real fleece but it is a good value and easily washed. If the one at your barn is always available spend your money on something else. I always have a long list of wants!
What size saddle would it fit?
GrassyMooMoo on Nov 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have a 17" Passier dressage saddle and it just barely fits with the fuzzy right around the back. I think it runs on the smaller side.
How thick is this pad?
A shopper on Aug 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It is about an inch thick overall but squishes with use. It is not thicker in any given place except the front rolled edge that doesn't go under the saddle when in use.
