My horse lost a lot of weight during the winter, and I searched ways to help her gain it back. This was one of the ways, and it naturally shines her coat and is great for her skin and hair. Also, she likes the flavor when I mix it in with her feed.
Eleesha N on Jun 29, 2015
Two of our horses are mid to late 30's, toothless, and eat soaked pellets. But the oldest (almost 40) is having a hard time gaining weight again, so am hoping the ingredients will help him gain weight and get shiny again.
Kathi M on Jun 20, 2015
Reordered this...my horses LOVE the taste. I am seeing a slow weight gain on old mare and her coat is glistening.
JENNIFER Z on Jun 12, 2015

GARY H S on Apr 25, 2014
I've been feeding this oil for the past 15 years and had great results; it helps put weight on the hard keepers, is high in Omega fatty acids, and puts an excellent shine on their coats! It also makes it easier to disguise supplements or medications in their feed once they get used to the taste of the oil. (None of mine have objected to the oil!)
Teresa M on Apr 13, 2014
I haven't found anything that's put weight and shine on my OTTBs like this product has. After 30 days I noticed a major change, especially in the mare who hasn't responded to any of the other supplements I've tried. Great product!

my TB mare is about 22 yrs old and needs weight gain, how much to start with for that?
Ruth P on Mar 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The Manufacturer's recommended dosage for equine maintenance is 1 to 4 oz daily. You can start with one ounce and work up from there if need be.
How many ounces per day is recommended for a draft horse?
A shopper on Apr 19, 2016

On the five gallon size, is there a pump provided? My concern is that it would be too heavy for me to pour, let alone shake it up.
Jessamyn L on Sep 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There is a pump dispenser that you can buy separate for a couple dollars. I use it in my 5 gallon jug and I bought it from the same place I got the oil
Will this increase my horses energy? I noticed you said "cool" cals but I don't want to use it and have my horse turn into the energizer bunny!
aqha all around on May 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No 'energizer bunny" status... this is a good product for sustained calories and slow energy. I feed it to all my herd from the 6 year old gelding clydesdale, up to my senior 30 something belgium cross gelding. Its also great for their skin/coat and especially friendly this time of year when they are shedding out-it makes grooming much easier.
Can the horse formula be used for dogs also?
A shopper on Jan 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I do not know, so I suggest asking the manufacturer. However, if you read the indigence there does not seem to be anything that would suggest it cannot be fed to a dog. It has a sweet coconutty smell but I guess a dog would like it.
does this help a horse with cushings?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't really know much about Cushings. I believe Cocosoya is a blend of soybean oil and coconut oil. I add it to my TB's food to get more calories without adding carbs. If you find a contact number, the company is pretty receptive to questions.
