Is this pellets or powder?
A shopper on May 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It is a green meal/powder, I think they say alfalfa based. I feed this with the Accel, I mix them together proportionally, then I mix in some cinnamon and sugar, and my horse cleans it up great. Otherwise it doesn't seem to be so tasty to her.
I was specifically looking for probiotics with Saccharomyces Cerevisiae which my vet recommended. This item appeared in the results when I typed in probiotics and it does contain Saccharomyces Cerevisiae. My current digestive aid is 21 billion CFU Saccharomyces and this one says 4.2 x 109 CFU. Is it comparable? I see where everyone has commented that it had helped hooves, does anyone have feedback as far as it working well as a probiotic/digestive aid? Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Hi Michelle
Your question is very chemistry specific and I really haven't really focused my attention on the level of detail you are inquiring. However I do have this to say - that this product is directed to healthy hooves and it does a great job. Our horses have very strong hooves and go unshod. I will add though that we do give our older horse a probiotic- advertised specifically as a probiotic for better gut health due to the cool weather changing the nutritional composition of our pasture grass. Hope this helps
