I have used 5 in one COURSE blades for my paint mare's legs to get her show ready but switched to the diamond blade as it lasts longer and doesn't dull as quick. She's got a ton of white and that eats blades, but this one does better than most!

Needed new blade. This one sounded like it would last longer, be more sturdy

does this blade come in coarse?
Kathy S on Jun 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi. If I wanted a coarse cut, I would not use this blade, no. I use this blade on small sections (like feet abdomen and face) on my standard poodles and in small sensitive areas on my horse's head which need a close smooth cut.
