Weaver Brahma Synthetic Split Reins
I purchased these for a friend in Germany and she loves them. She and her husband also compete in driving competitions and have switched to this type of material as well because they hold up and are much easier to take care of. I loved the feel and look of these reins when they arrived.

SOO Soft! And perfect length!
Number 1: these reins are not leather. They are made of a viny/synthetic blend, and that speaks about their durability. But they do have a leather finish to them. They do clean easily with saddle soap. And they are so soft and comfortable to hold. Would be acceptable for a show or just trail riding.

Nice Reins
I bought the bridle local and found the reins here on horse.com very comfortable on the hands, nice length, easy to clean. In your hands they feel/respond like a nicely worn pair of leather reins would.

Durable, easy to clean!
I replaced the chicago screws with conway buckles for trail riding but otherwise an outstanding product!

Perfect Reins
I bought these reins about two years ago from Tractor Supply and I have to say by far these are my favorite reins! The texture is a little funny in no way bad, better if you ask me. I had no complaints and they look Exactly like when I first bought them. A great pair of reins for the price :)

I have these reins on a couple of headstalls and love the feel. they are also tough and won't dry out like leather can.

how long are these reins?
A shopper on Mar 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If memory serves me they are 8.5" long . I put a knot in them for beginners and still have at least 6" in excess past the knot.
They are smooth in the hand and have a light coating on them.
