I purchased this item because I am constantly doing repairs or making improvements on everyone's tack. This is a must have in any barn if you're not looking to spend a whole bunch of money on a costly repair at the leather smith. All you need is a leather punch and a little creativity. Pliers come in handy too :-)

long?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would assume each bad is different seeing how these are scraps. I found the pieces very useful, as far a "long" I would say the longest piece was some where around 12-18"
Most of the pieces were smaller than that.
Hope this helps!
