Too short, good quality.
They are too short to be very useful, but the quality is pretty good.

Excellent Saddle Strings
Great looking high quality saddle strings (I got the dark oil). They were also very easy to install for someone with NO experience in putting anything like this on before!

Would you use these to attach a saddle bag to your saddle?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used these to replace old strings that were in bad shape and then yes they work for tying your saddlebags on.
How do they attach to the saddle?
Annette T on Mar 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They have a little flat piece of metal with a hole in it that is attached to a ring. You unscrew one of the conchos on your saddle and put the metal under the concho and screw it back on. Or if you already have rings on your saddle you can take the strings off the included rings and attach them to the rings you already have. I've used them both ways. If you take them off the included rings pay attention to how they come off so you can put them back on properly.
What are stirup clips?
A shopper on Apr 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Not sure what you are asking, but let's see if I can help!
1) The item pictured is a Saddle string with clip; it is two strips of leather which you can attach to a D-ring on your saddle with the clip. You can then use the two strips to tie a rope, the lead rope, a saddlebag, etc., to your saddle.
2) A stirrup clip (in your question) could be what looks ike a miniature leather belt? This is used to go around Western stirrup leathers to keep them all contained and hold the stirrup more "in place."

Hope this helps!
how long are the strings?
