Beautiful turquoise color.
I have not used the reins because of the weather but they are beautiful turquoise and appear to be of good quality and will be durable. I gave a good for quality and durability because I have not used them.

Did not realize there was only one scissor snap. I should have paid attention to the picture and description. Went to Home Depot and bought another scissor snap, no problem. Dyed the brown leather black.

Excellent reins, colour different than expected
These reins are very nice! Super adjustable and the suede is really comfortable in your hands. I like that they are thinner than my older weaver reins that have a rubbery grip. The only downside is that they look different than I expected. The leather is much lighter than pictured (but may darken with use and oil). I ordered the hot pink and it is a little darker/ more purple than I thought it would be. Overall these are wonderful reins.

Best reins I've owned.
I bought these reins maybe a year ago from my local Rural King. I only use these reins on my horses and they hold up great. I've got the royal blue and the color is gorgeous. They're perfect for trail riding and barrel racing. I've always had a problem with split reins and I can never find the right length, so I prefer this kind. These reins have been yanked on, pulled by my horse, and used in all weather conditions and there's not the least bit sign of wear. The suede is still nice and soft and the color hasn't faded at all. Just a little dirt that some washing would get rid of. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone and would buy another pair if I ever needed to.

Love these
I absolutely love these reins, wish they would go on sale so I can buy them in every color! When I have friends come over to ride, they fight over who gets to use my one set. Love them so much, wish I had more! Great quality and rich color.

Love Love Love
I have been using these reins for many years now. I love the feel of the suede, it offers great feel abd grip without the stretch of a lot of other reins. It also, in my opinion, aids in hand position because there are no knots to rely on. I won't use any other reins when I run.

Ehhh.
These are great quality reins and have a great feel but without the nots like traditional barrel reins you can't get the same hand placement everytime which means not always having a good turn. They also are a little expensive

I love riding in short reins and love the color turquoise
CHERYL H on Dec 11, 2016
I thought they were cool looking and a barrel rein. They turned out to be quite stiff with not a lot of feel. Probably won't buy those again. They're hanging in my trailer as spares right now.

how long are they?
A shopper on Jan 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I can't say exactly . They are short though good for gymkhana or trail riding. I would say you would want longer ones for everyday riding or training .
How does this hook to bridle with just one clip?
Alison S on Jun 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Looks great !!!, It is so nice to just unhook one side if you need to. They are so comfortable to ride with. We got a lot of compliments. I purchased the black and got purple for my daughter. If you don't want the clip you can remove it and hook it straight up or add a clip to the other side very easy.
Can the scissor snap be removed? I'd like to add slobber straps in their place.
ArabGirl on Aug 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes there is a buckle so you could easily change the snap. Love these reins.
