Darlyne W on Apr 20, 2015
I had previously ordered this same cinch, and like it, but now I am riding a smaller barreled mare and needed a smaller size. I like the way it holds the tightness as you are cinching up.
Linnea H on Jan 15, 2015
The wool allows breathing, no chaffing. Comfortable for the horse.

Because the reviews were good and there is a "two roller" system I do not have with my current girth.

LEAH H on Mar 14, 2014
Great Reviews. works as advertized.
Peter Z on Mar 13, 2014
The 36" Smart Cinch I used on other horses is too long for my new mare. This cinch is so easy to use I needed a shorter one to use! I love the ease of tightening the Smart Cinch because I had shoulder surgery that took away a lot of my arm strength. This cinch makes tacking up much easier since my surgery. I highly recommend this for any horse owner!

What size should a get for a 16hh thoroughbred that willl be gaining weight and muscle?
A shopper on May 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The best way to measure what size cinch you need is to tie a piece of string to one rigging ring, loop it under the horse's girth, and bring it up to the other ring. Measure that length and subtract 16 inches (round up to the nearest cinch size). As your horse gains weight and muscle you may need to go up in cinch size using the method above for sizing.
How do you wash it ?
A shopper on Aug 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I like the cinch a lot. Good quality, especially for price. Does rub my horses skin. Just buy the one with the cinch catch or your off side cinch strap just hangs
Does this cinch slip at all?
A shopper on Aug 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have not had the cinch slip. I use one both with a leather latigo and another saddle with a nylon latigo. The nylon latigo will loosen up if I'm not using the holes and I'm just tying off after I tighten the cinch. With the leather latigo I don't have any slippage or loosening at all. The rollers on this cinch make getting the cinch snug/tight much easier. I'm still very pleased with these cinches.
My made is 14.2 weighs approx 840lbs. What size cinch should I buy?
Jane D on Dec 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Please tie a string to your saddle's off side cinch dee, run it underneath her to the near side cinch dee, and subtract 8 inches from that measurement.
Alternatively, you could measure from a hand's-width behind her elbow underneath to the same area on the other side.
Or, you can measure a cinch you already use that fits, tip to tip.
Where is the "two roller design" to make it easier to cinch? What are the two rings in the middle for?
Nancy H on May 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The two rollers are at the bottom of the photo. First time the latigo goes through the first whole, second time through the big whole. It works great.
The two dees in the middle of the cinch can be used to attach a training fork/tie down or your back cinch.
I love this cinch.
