great for performance riders!
i use this bit with my Arabian for English performance and at one pull of the reins she collects right up! she keeps her forward movement and steady pace. it also makes her salivate, keeping a nice, soft mouth. overall a wonderful bit for performance.

This is an amazing bit
I have a mare who is rather hard mouthed and does not work well in a smooth snaffle for training. It was suggested to me that I try riding her in a twisted wire snaffle then work on moving her between the smooth mouth and twisted wire snaffle. I was reluctant to try the twisted wire because it is a little more severe, but my horse absolutely loves this bit! She loves the sweet iron, and it makes her mouth very soft because she is salivating more. After using it to work on more of the basic training stuff, I decided to use her as a little schooling jumper, and she is currently working in this bit. She still loves the bit. It works well and I have enough control going over the tiny fences with her. Because it is a snaffle bit there is plenty of bend and it is easy for the horse to know what you are asking. It also does not rust super fast, which is very common for sweet iron bits and can dehydrate your horse. Plus, I have had this bit for 3 years, and it is still in top condition!

Nice Product
I bought this bit for my little Mustang mare when she kept running through a smooth snaffle bit. She definitely loves the sweet iron, though it does have a tendency to rust rather quickly. Also, this bit doesn't pinch the corners of her mouth as a lot of bits will, so overall I think that this is a nice bit and fairly priced.

good bit, seems to be quality made, good for a stiffer than most colt. He's the worst ive seen and needed more so opted for this bit and it works just fine. Its heavier than i thought but is fine
