Perfect for the price!
While I love the full saddle covers that cover fenders, these are great for trailering, show, or for saddles that I use very often. These hold up well, and cover all my saddles from 14"-16". The fact that they stuff back into themselves is great too! A nice item to have on hand.

LOVE IT!
I have 2 western saddles, one is a 14in barrel saddle and the other is a 15-15.5in trail saddle. I love the elastic band. It fits over my whole barrel saddle and a little snug on my trail saddle. Don't care but it does its job and it is sturdy!

Spend a little more for a quality product.
I purchased several of these as gifts a few years ago and forgot about writing a review, until I found the one I kept for myself packed away in a box this morning. Yes, in a box, because these weren't worth using. When I received the initial order, I had to return one of the covers immediately because of (what I thought was) dryrot around the seams causing them to pull apart. Horse.com sent me a new one and told me to just dispose of the ruined one. The new one seemed to be in good shape, but after a couple of uses the seam once again started ripping out of the nylon around the horn. I've enclosed a picture of the rip that I took this morning; you can tell that the fabric still looks brand new from not being used. I would suggest paying a little more to get a better quality product

Easy
I think this is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a dust cover that was easy enough to put on and take off that I would use it regularly. Its very light weight, scrunches down compact when not in use and its not too crunchy in freezing temps.

These are great for a quick cover to keep barn dust off. They pack neatly back into the pommel bag, small and light enough to carry on the trail.

Good product for price
I bought 5 of these to cover my Western and Aussie saddles. They fit well and do what I need them to do - keep the saddles clean and dust free. Material seems sturdy enough and you can't beat the price.

Cheap material
Overall the cover does the job and it fits around my saddle, but I put fair quality because the part around the horn ripped after the second time I used it. I have had it for 6 months and the rest is holding together very well, but it would be better if the stitching was reinforced around the horn cover.

Great for the money
Nice saddle cover, does not cover the fenders, but still keeps the majority of dust off. Saves a lot of leather cleaning

Will it for the larger (17"+) western saddles?
A shopper on Jul 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's a generous fit. I have a shorter saddle with a 25" skirt but there is still room for longer skirts.
