Western BS Silver Dot Med Port Roller S-Shank Bit

I have a rescued mare who seems to have been there, done that but have no clue as to what bit she preferred. She does well in a snaffle and mechanical hackamore but I wanted a bit in the middle of the road. The mare really seems to accept this bit and works nicely with it.

Cannot beat this deal on a stylish bit. I was very happy with this purchase. It was exactly what I needed for my Tennessee Walker mare who had been bracing her neck on the previous bit which was also high port but was like a broken bit and flexed too much in her mouth. She seems to really prefer this one a lot better and I'm getting much more relaxed head drop and still have the stop I needed with the high port. In experienced hands, this bit is a great bit. I expected to have to spend $80 or more to get a Myler bit. Don't know how it will stand up to time & rust, but for the price, I'd gladly buy another if that time comes.
