I use this on my trail horses
I pretty much have this bit on all of my trail horse bridles. All ride with a light hand so these work great.

Simple & Effective
This simple & effective bit works well for my 7 year old mare after graduating from a basic snaffle. The quality of the construction is excellent and I anticipate this bit will last her many years to come.

Not the most durable...
I got this bit because my old one started to rust... The second I put it in my horses mouth, he chewed lightly and for literally a second, and it immediately dented in completely. It has bite marks all over it. Definately not the most durable. Wouldn't recommend.

Is this bit stainless steel?
Kathryn on Oct 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I do not know for sure if this is stainless steel, but I use this bit on two of my mares and have had no rust or significant wear issues. One of my mares has had this bit in her mouth for 3 years and the bit looks very, very good; nearly new.
I am looking for a 5 1/4 inch copper mouth snaffle bit...do you have one in that size size?
Charlene F on Jan 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I bought the same bit in a snaffle and it works as intended. Be careful using a "shank" leverage bit. The shank applies much more pressure to the horses mouth not something I wanted to do to encourage light rein pressure vs pain.
When will this bit be available?
LUCY S on Jun 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The estimated date of availability is today; that may change, however, if we don't receive the scheduled delivery. Inventory on our site is "live," so please check back.
