Is this bit stainless steel?
Kathryn on Oct 24, 2016
Best Answer: I do not know for sure if this is stainless steel, but I use this bit on two of my mares and have had no rust or significant wear issues. One of my mares has had this bit in her mouth for 3 years and the bit looks very, very good; nearly new.

I am looking for a 5 1/4 inch copper mouth snaffle bit...do you have one in that size size?
Charlene F on Jan 8, 2017
Best Answer: I bought the same bit in a snaffle and it works as intended. Be careful using a "shank" leverage bit. The shank applies much more pressure to the horses mouth not something I wanted to do to encourage light rein pressure vs pain.
