Great for small hands!
I bought these reins for they were on sale and I was looking for something that wasn't bulky! These reins are perfect, my daughter is 9 and she uses them on her horse. They fit her hand, so she can hold them. They are sleek and comfortable to hold.

Good value
It is small diameter - but I like that. It is stiff. I don't mind that. Trigger snaps and attachment of the rein to them look like they would not stand up to daily use. I just use it as an extra rein and leave it in the trailer. At this price, I don't care if it lasts or if it gets lost or borrowed, etc.

They are great for gaming, and for trail riding. Overall they are great reins! And I do recommend them!

durable
Very durable reins.... especially for the price.... nice looking set as well.

Stiff
Cheap, nice looking, but very stiff and inflexible. They'll stay hanging in the tack room.

Item on clearance
I bought this because it was clearance priced. They are ok. I am not sure I would use them over what I have, but for the price, they will be a nice set of extra reins if I ever need them

Cheap and great quality!
Bought the dark green and tan reins over 2 years ago and they are still holding up great! Always use them on my gelding for trail rides and gymkhanas and have never had any problems! Love the scissor snaps too!

scissor snaps are cheap!
The rein is nice but the snaps are cheap. I had one break before I even was able to attach the rein to the headstall. I took it out of the zip lock bag it was in and checked the snaps and one of them broke right away. Don't buy the rein unless you want to replace the snaps.

Flexible reins that are strong but supple. Have some weight in the ends, but not too much as to be dragging on your horse.

These reins have my favorite color?
A shopper on Jun 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's a really nice darker green, I got them to match my nephew's helmet, the reins are thin and easy for his little fingers to handle the right way
What brand are these reins???
A L on Mar 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hello,
They were the western vaquero roping rein black and tan. I liked them but I have a very large horse with a long
neck and they were about 8" short for my horse and preference for riens. I believe on a smaller horse the would be good! I liked the feel of them, it was just the length with my horse.
DO YOU HAVE THIS IN HUNTER GREEN AND NAVY?
A shopper on Mar 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unforltunately not. The colors available are brown/tan or black/tan.
Length how long is this6
rein?
A shopper on Dec 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This rein is 8 feet long.
