what is the size chart for saddles?
peanut on Mar 3, 2015
Best Answer: This is a simple sizing guide to help you determine the size saddle recommended for your body size.

This is determined by this easy calculation: Sit in a position so that your upper leg is at a right-angle to your lower leg, then measure your upper leg length ...from the back of your buttock to the tip of your knee.

Use this chart to determine your seat size:

Upper Leg Length Seat Size

Up to 16 1/2" 15" seat
Up to 18 1/2" 16" seat
Up to 20" 16 1/2" seat
Up to 21 1/2" 17" seat
Up to 23" 17 1/2" seat
Up to 23" 18" seat

does this saddle come with stirrups?
A shopper on Nov 5, 2014
Best Answer: No, I bought the leathers (webbers) and irons separate. I would suggest making sure you get a saddle wide enough! The medium tree is very narrow in comparison to others!

I want to be clear if this saddle will work on a larger, broad backed horse? It says there is an adjustable gullet but someone commented that it is narrow and also doesn't come with a larger gullet panel??
A shopper on Nov 7, 2016
Best Answer: This saddle comes with a medium gullet panel. If you need a bigger gullet panel you will have to buy them. I bought this saddle because of the easy change gullet system. This saddle fits (with a medium gullet and was measured with the wintec wither measurer) a 14.2 slightly overweight Paint Quarter horse cross and a 16.1 Draft Cross with narrow withers and a broad back.

It says it is a all purpose saddle, so would I be able to jump in it?
ele_mira9 on Apr 24, 2017
Best Answer: I think you might be able to jump small jumps (two feet high) with this saddle.

How do you use the adjustable gullet feature?
A shopper on Jul 27, 2016
Best Answer: If the front of the saddle there is Velcro that you open up in side you will see the gullet panel, you just need a Philips head screwdriver to change the panel to whatever size you need for the horse you are using the saddle on. It's a little bit difficult to change when the saddle is new, but is well worth it.

Will the gullet system included allow me to change to a wide or extra wide?
Sarah S on Jun 26, 2016
Best Answer: The saddle only comes with 1 gullet panel.. I purchased the other panels separately, but when you do have the full gullet system it will allow you to change it as needed..
