Why did you choose this? Store

Would this help rise the back of my saddle? If not any recommendations?
A shopper on Jan 24, 2016
Best Answer: maybe a little, but this pad is for protection in the front for high withers
this pad is very stiff and I put it on top of another pad for a plush comfort for the horse that might help you some.
but for the back to rise I think this might pick you up even more and do the opposite, you can always return it
I don't have any ideas for English but Western could be flipped around.
Happy Sunday to you!

Would this pad help a gaited horse with "downhill" conformation?
SweetieSweets on Aug 29, 2015
Best Answer: I purchased this to help my high back T.B. have more comfort, honestly it's very stiff in form so if your horse has a wide back I am not so sure it's going to flex for your fancy footed kid. It does have a very firm spine form.
It is nice in quality.

Would this pad work with a treeless saddle to keep the saddle of the horse's spine? Would you place this pad over or under your saddle pad?
A shopper on Aug 13, 2016
Best Answer: You would use this pad over top of your saddle pad, directly under the saddle. I don't think it would keep a treeless saddle off a horse's spine; it's too soft for that.

Can this be used under a western saddle?
SweetieSweets on Aug 30, 2015
Best Answer: This pad is typically used under English saddles, but there's no reason not to use it under a Western saddle if it will fit. It is 19"L, 12"W in the front, and 20"W in the back.
