Why did you choose this? Store
It goes with her saddle perfectly.

I picked this item because I trust the Wintec brand and I wanted to make my high withered OTTB more comfortable under saddle and ensure his withers and spine were pressure-free

My saddle is a little wide and this took up the gap just perfectly.

I have a 9 year old Arabian mare and we do cross country should I get a front or back one?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2015
Best Answer: It depends on where your saddle is not fitting. The pad with the rise in the front is made for when you horse is more narrow at the withers than your saddle and you want to pad up the withers. Padding in the back, I assume is for when the saddle fits at the withers but then goes "downhill" and you need something to raise it in the back.

Does this pad go over or under the regular saddle pad?
A shopper on Jul 15, 2014
Best Answer: I put a quilt pad on the bottom(next to my horse), then the comfort saddle pad and then a thin fleece pad over the comfort pad. Previously I put one like it next to the saddle and the fleece next to my horse. I guess the answer is that I wouldn't put this next to my horse, I'd be worried that the saddle would rub where it doesn't make contact with the pad.

When using this pad do people usually use another pad with it and place the wintec lifter pad in between the normal pad and the saddle or directly on the horses back?
skweeke on Sep 12, 2016
Best Answer: I use another pad with this one. A full size pad contour pad. I place this one between the saddle and the full size pad.

Hi. Can you tell me how thick this pad is in the front?
STEPHANIE O on Dec 15, 2014
Best Answer: I would say the part with extra padding is about 3/4". It is firm enough to support, but soft enough that it doesn't create much bulk. I bought it to use on an older horse, but also use it on another that my saddle was a but wide for. Love it. Very handy.
