I have always used this, I think you get a better application then sprays when wiped on with the fleece mit.

tried and true fly wipe product

Good ole standby, it works better than most, it smells decent and the horses have no objections. I have never met a fly repellent that lasts as long as the product claims, but can generally get a couple hour trail ride outa the Wipe.

Have used this product for many, many years with complete satisfaction. My 31 year old mare comes into the back yard and stands on the patio waiting to be fly wiped. She is always happy and more comfortable afterward. We are never without flies in this climate, so it is important to find a good product that agrees with their skin and and nose so there is no battle to apply it. Go Farnam.

This the good old fashioned fly repellent of my youth! It works and the smell brings me back to my ponies when life was simple!
HEATHER C on Jan 18, 2017
Best fly protection I could recommend. I have used this product for 20 years and find it works the best of all the products I have tried.
marion b on Jan 10, 2017
This is the BEST product I have found for killing ticks and flies. I use a folded piece of terry cloth (kept in a can) to apply. The Wipe is good for use on faces and ears, and there is less waste than with a spray.

Best ever bug protection for over 40 years.

it is the only thing that lasts at least 24 hrs and keeps off all flies so the horses has some lasting relief
JENNY M on Nov 5, 2015
Works better than all the other types of fly spray or wipe that I have used.
Terry H on Sep 4, 2015
We think this is more effective than the sprays.
Sharon T on Aug 17, 2015
This product doesn't work for days, although have found that it works better than other products used and will continue to purchase for fly protection. I always use a mitt to apply, adheres to the hair better and no waste being sprayed into the air.

Kernan H on Jul 16, 2015
Simply the BEST. Put too expensive to put in a sprayer. Use sparingly as a wipe on.

VICKI F on Jul 16, 2014
Love, love, love this product. I use a small sponge to wipe this around my horses' eyes and ears. No bugs, flies, etc. Great product. It is oil based and attracts dust so if you are showing, may want to only put on a small amount. Either way, it works great.

Charlotte H on May 19, 2017
can you put this in a spray bottle?
A shopper on Jun 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I suppose you could, but I use it around face and ears, where you don't want to spray. Gives concentrated coverage. Works great with a mitt (and I add a latex glove inside of that) and my horse loves the face rubbing!
is it concentrated?
carol s on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No is not a concentrate, i apply with a rag I keep in a jar, ( I wear neoprene chemical resistant gloves to apply) and completely wipe horse down, I also mix with a home made fly spray recipe and use it in a spray. I rotate my fly wipe usage (different products) as flys can get used to a certain product !
can you spray it on?
carol s on Jun 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have not tried to spray this on but I believe it would work ok as a spray if you shook it before spraying. I like this because it wipes on. I use a small plastic container and a terry cloth piece of towel that I dampen each time before I wipe down the horse. The plastic (ziplock) container keeps the towel moist and wiping it on allows you to get the horse completely covered wipe against the hair growth to cover each hair and it works better than any spray. Only issue is if you are in a dusty environment you will get dirt that sticks to coat as this is in an oily base. A stiff brush will take off the dirt withou issue. Wipe works better than any of the numerous sprays I have tried and is longer lasting.
