Suggested Feeding for Horses:
Brood Mares: (during latter half of gestation and lactation): 2 Tbsp (1 oz.) twice daily
Colts, Stallions, and Horses in Training: 1 Tbsp (1/2 oz.) for every 400 lb. of body weight per day

Young Foals: 1 to 2 Tbsp (1/2 to 1 oz.) daily

Great product for the money.

I have been using this product for years. Very affordable and seams to be perfect for my 3 quarter horses that are use 3 to 4 days a week for both trail riding and ranch sorting. Coats are beautiful and there feet are strong and healthy.

Great nutritional "insurance"

I have tried hard to find a supplement that seemed to have most of what we need to augment our hay/pasture/water quality for a price that was affordable (we have four old horses)...Four-a flex has given us that nutritional insurance at a reasonable cost. I ran out once and thought-eh-I'll see what happens if they don't have it...Their bloom diminished, and their well kept barefeet suddenly started to get dry and flaky...back on it asap!..I don't have any trouble with palatability...but-admittedly-our group are EATERS! We have everything from an easy keeping 9 y.o. to a 35 y.o. in great shape...they get individualized amounts of plain beet pulp soaked and the three oldies get individual additional portions of other pelletized feed (teeth missing in the 35 y.o.).They are all always happy to eat their "glop."

I have healthy horses and shiny coats

Years ago someone asked what vitamins I fed my horses, as she had admired their shiny coats and overall health. They thought I was feeding an expensive Platinum product.

Great Product

I use this product for my horses and my dogs, puts a nice sheen to their coats. The dogs shed less which is great. All around great buy.

Does not reseal

Bought a 25# bag of this as a multivitamin for my mare through her pregnancy. I have noticed improved coat quality and temperament, which is great, but I made the mistake of keeping the (non-waterproof) bag in a metal bin in the barn, but the mice still managed to get into the folded bag. I've always been happy with the fast shipping from Horse.com, just wish I would have transferred to a smaller container and kept the large bag in the house.
