Mane 'n Tail® Pro-Tect™ Antimicrobial Medicated Shampoo

Clean your horse with Pro-Tect™ Antimicrobial Medicated Shampoo. It's effective against skin problems associated with bacteria, yeast, mold, fungi, and viruses and even kills rain rot. Broad-spectrum activity protects against difficult-to-identify opportunistic microorganisms. Safe for shampooing animals with skin injuries, including cuts, tears, and abrasions, it can be used to treat existing skin problems and also as a preventative when used regularly. The pH adjusted formula leaves skin and coat clean and conditioned.

Very Nice Shampoo
This shampoo has been great for our mare who developed a bunch of little patches in her coat...probably a fungus. Showed improvement right away with the Pro-Tect, now has a nice clear, shiny coat.

effectively treats and prevents hot spots on my dog.
We went the gamut of Prednisone and veterinary shampoos for allergy and yeast infection producing hot spots in my dog last year. I did some research when the hot spots started this year and saw good reviews on Mane and Tail antibacterial shampoo. It worked better than I could've hoped. I have to bathe her every few days so the relatively inexpensive 32 oz bottle lasted all summer for my med sized dog. I gave some to a friend and it cleared her dogs hot spots also.

This is a great shampoo
I ordered this shampoo to clean a Percheron Geldings pastern dermatitis. It worked far better than I expected. It is not iodine based. Love that! And it gets their feathers so clean! I will always have this shampoo in my barn. I know it would be awesome if you had a horse with rain rot or any type of fungal or yeast problem.
