Original Hay Hoops™ Collapsible Wall Hay Feeder With Net (Smooth Black Finish)

Natural feeding experience reduces the likelihood of developing ulcers. Reduces vices such as cribbing, weaving and pawing. Mounting low mimics natural grazing position. Very simple to use and easy to load! One net included and attaches to hooks. Nets used must have holes no larger than 2” x 2”.

Love the idea of this hay rack. My horse is 3 and likes to destroy stuff. The hoop and net lasted a few weeks/months. If your horse isn?t rough with stuff like this, it is perfect. I?m still giving it 5 stars because it would work perfectly with a horse that doesn?t destroy things. It doesn?t fit too much hay in it though so maybe a net change is needed.

I'm ordering 2 more of these!

I was skeptical at first; it seemed awkward to open and close the rack, esp when full of hay. After a few days of use, however, it's easy and quick to open and close, and so easy to fill after decades of fighting with regular nets. Hay wastage is actually eliminated, and a full net lasts all night. There was a small defect in the manufacture of the tiny metal latch that locks the frame closed. We were able to fix it but hope to see that problem remedied in the two new ones I'm ordering today.

Excellent Slow Feeder/Hay Holder

Love the bag, and highly recommend it. Holds a ton and prevents so much waste. I can load this puppy up and my horse stays busy eating for hours. However. The directions in the package were for the wrong unit, and most of the hardware was broken or missing.

Bought two of these, I like the design but one of the frames I received was slightly defective and the round piece that slides over the clip was welded on crooked, so the clip could not function properly. The barn had an old frame lying around that was missing the hardware and net, so I used that with the parts from this new one to make it work. Needs a fairly smooth surface to hang on, rough/uneven boards make it difficult to mount and operate. Otherwise though, I do like this design and find it easier than many of the other styles of hay net.
