Panacur (fenbendazole) Paste 10% from Merck Animal Health is an equine dewormer formulated to treat and control a broad range of internal parasites in horses. The 25 g oral paste is supplied in a single-dose syringe and features an apple-cinnamon flavor for convenient administration. Contains 10% fenbendazole for the treatment and control of large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, and S. equinus), small strongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids (Parascaris equorum), and arteritis associated with fourth-stage larvae of S. vulgaris. Labeled for the treatment of encysted early third-stage (hypobiotic), late third-stage, and fourth-stage cyathostome larvae. Approved for use in foals, pregnant mares, and breeding stallions when used according to label directions. One 25 g syringe treats horses weighing up to 1,100 lb at the recommended dosage. Apple-cinnamon flavored oral paste packaged in a ready-to-use dosing syringe.
