Professional's Choice Ice Boot

Sold in pairs, these therapeutic boots can be used on both front and hind legs. A neoprene exterior insulates the frozen gel pockets, keeping the boots colder longer, thus increasing the therapy time. A smooth nylon lining eliminates the potential for damaging the tissue from exposing the skin directly to ice, while also preventing dirt, shavings, and debris from sticking to the boots. Extended hook straps allow easy application for all horses. To activate, just place them in a freezer until frozen, and then transferred to an ice chest or cooler for use away from the barn or a freezer. Packaged in a convenient set of two, these boots also come with a mesh carrying bag.

Easy to use and effective.
Good ice boots, easy to use. I put them in a cooler bag w ice packs and they stay cold enough to use when done jumping.

Thoroughbred approved
I ordered two sets of these boots for my 16.1 hand thoroughbred. I ordered size medium for the front legs and large for the back legs. The boots stay cold for the full 20 minutes he wears the boots. As stated in previous reviews, the boots (specifically the back boots) will need readjusting after about 3-5 minutes as they tend to fall down a bit. I don?t fault the ice boots for this issue as our horse has this same issue with shipping boots as well. Our horse tends to stomp his back legs a time or two upon being wrapped.

Great, affordable ice boot. Cleans well with a quick brush down or anti-bacterial wipes. I like that these boots are still flexible when frozen. Many others freeze so solid they’re hard to put on and never get a good fit. These are easy to mold and hold the cold for about 20-30 minutes in warm temps. They are not contoured so you do usually have to tighten them after about 5-10 minutes and then they stay solidly in place until you’re done.

Cool Down Fast!! So Easy To Use!
These saved my horse last summer. He's a nonsweater in Florida and these are so easy to use and cooled him down quickly. I did have a problem with the seam breaking apart and the gel oozing out put they were placed quickly. You have to be a little gentle with them when they are frozen.
