Strongid C2X Daily Pellet Wormer

Keeping parasite levels under control helps your horse perform at his best. Parasites steal nutrition, energy and good health from your horse. Left unchecked, parasites can cause damage to vital organs, impair growth and performance, and may cause colic. If you live in an area that is known for worms, or your horses are out in dry lots with other equines, STRONGID® C 2X Daily Wormer is not only easy to use but extremely effective. Safe for all horses over the age of three months, this pelleted solution covers a broad spectrum of worms. A daily dose helps break the cycle of parasite infection and prevent larval infestations. It can also be used in larger dosages as a rotational wormer.

Note: Each horse must be fed separately in order to insure proper dosage.

Ingredients:

Mixing and Feeding Directions:
STRONGID® C 2X is to be administered on a continuous basis either as a top-dress or mixed in the horse’s daily grain ration at the rate of 1.2 mg pyrantel tartrate per lb. of body weight daily. To achieve this dose, administer 0.5 oz. per 250 lb. of body weight (2 oz. per day for a 1,000 lb. horse). STRONGID® C 2X should be administered for the entire period that the animal is at risk to internal parasites. Unprotected animals that have grazed may already have an established S. vulgaris larval infestation. Before administering, these animals should be treated with a therapeutic dose of a larvicidal product. Foals may be administered STRONGID® C 2X as soon as consistent intake of grain mix is occurring, generally between 2–3 months of age. STRONGID® C 2X may be used in mares at any stage of pregnancy or lactation. Stallion fertility is not affected by the use of STRONGID® C 2X.

Caution:
Consult your veterinarian before using in severely debilitated animals and for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. Do not mix in feeds containing bentonite. Not for use in horses intended for food.
