The 5 wide and curved mouthpiece is squared on the edges to give it a slightly sharper, more immediate action than a wide smooth snaffle.
The D Ring Snaffle has a nice weight, balance and feel. Its slightly heavier design not only makes it durable, but it takes a deliberate action to cue the horse. When released, the bit returns quickly to a resting state, providing release of pressure and adding consistency to your hands.
